Have you ever felt truly passionate about something or wanted to make a REAL change, but didn't know where to start?

​The Youth Action Teams started in 2011 when our adult advisor met some local teens trying to figure out a way to get linked into their community, to create change, to influence the decisions being made. 
​
Both Youth Action teams meet monthly and they are youth led. Each team is made up of high school students representing all of the local high schools. Each year, the team identifies several topics that they want to focus on for awareness campaigns or events throughout the year.
